With my son, I was about 10 minutes from my OB office and walking distance to the hospital. I lived right near the University of Virginia campus (my hubby was a grad student) and I gave birth at UVA hospital. I joked that if I went to labor during a football game, I could walk there quicker than driving and finding a parking space.
We've since moved to Mass and I had so many choices of hospitals. I decided on one that is about 25 minutes away, and the OB office is across the street from the hospital, so the same distance. I always think about woman who live far from the hospital, I know that 25 minute drive seems so long when I'm on my way to an appointment!

The hospital is about 10 min from my house, and I go for my MW/OB appts at the clinic in the hospital.

I live over an hour from the office, which is next to the hospital. I live in a small town and don't feel comfortable delivering at the hospital here or in the surrounding area, so I'm going back to the one my son was delivered at, which is in a town 60 miles away. She's find with inductions, though, so I'll probably just wind up scheduling one this time around as well.

20 minutes away from my OB, and at least that from the nearest hospital... You'd think things'd be more convenient, since I live in the city... Oh well.

45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic from both. We have a local hospital but they are HORRID and I wouldn't take my doggy there to give birth so we have to drive a bit.

My OB's office is 35 minutes away. The hospital is 55 minutes to an hour away. Since babies tend to send you in to the hospital in the wee hours, traffic isn't a problem.

About 15 minutes away. If that! My obgyn is across the street from the hospital. I really love my doc but cant stand the hospital so I am torn between switching hospitals which would make me have to switch docs or keep my doc but tell him I dont like the hospital and see what he would say but really what can he say?

It takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the hospital and OB Office. My OB's office is in the hospital so that makes it pretty easy.

My OB is about 30 minutes away in no traffic....which is rare. the Hospital with the labor/delivery is about 45 minutes away in no traffic. With traffic it takes about 45 minutes to the OB and an hour or more to the Hospital. Right Carrie...I hope I do go into labor in the wee hours other wise I am screwed lol

I am about 25 minutes to the hospital and about 35-40 to the OB’s office depending on traffic, both of which you drive through a 14 mile canyon.
I live right by 2 hospitals, within 5 minutes of my house, but one doesn’t do maternity care and the other is a county hospital so I will gladly drive 25 minutes to a private hospital.

OB is in the hospital, about 10 miles away... about 20 minutes except with lots of traffic.... so I'm also kind of hoping for a late night trip there!

With Kailey we lived 10 min from the hospital, and my MW came to my house for our appts.
We will be moving back to where we originally lived, so 10 min away from the hospital again, but if I'm not pregnant with twins it won't matter because I'll be having a homebirth.
