Why did you choose the name Kylie for your daughter? (It's such a cute name!)LOL---Joey and I were just talking about this today---it actually wasnt even on my list, nor did I have it highlighted in the name book. But, when Joey was going through the book and making a list, and mentioned the name, and well, I like it---thought it was cute. So, we agreed on it, but when she was born, I didnt think she looked like a Kylie AT ALL, so I was disappointed that we chose that name (we already had personalized things for her and had been calling her that for months). But, the name definitely suits her now!

So how did you meet DH ?He was really good friends with my cousin when we were kids, so he was always at bday parties or over spending the night at times when we would be visiting. I developed a crush on him when I was in 2nd grade, and it lasted until, well, I still have a crush on him But, my cousin moved away and I didnt get to see him much, but I still always had a crush on him---he never really knew I existed, because when we were kids he wasnt paying attention to me, and he was a grade older than me. Anyway, I was in 10th grade, he was in 11th, and we ended up with a class together, sitting right next to each other. We became really good friends that school year, and started dating the end of the summer--Aug 30th, 2000

What do you remember about these years when it comes to music, clothing, etc? There isnt anything specific I remember because none of that was important to me. But, too many people cared waaaaaay too much about their looks and what others thought of them.
Adult
How did dh propose? We decided to get married together, so there was no ring or anything, but he felt really bad about that. He wanted me to have a ring. So, we went together one day and picked out an engagement ring and a wedding band. We had the people hold it, so we could look around more, but I was pretty sure those were the ones I wanted. So, we waited the weekend, and we were going to go on Monday together and pick them up(I decided for sure I wanted those ones). But, he had some errands to run with his mom first. So, they leave, and Im just waiting for them to get back so I can go get my rings! They were taking a little longer than I had expected, so I was getting frustrated. Well, they finally get home. So, Joey and I leave to finally get my rings---only, he is going in the opposite direction as the jewelry store. I think nothing of it, because he might just wait until we get to a certain street to turn around. But, he just keeps going in the opposite direction, towards the next city. Well, Im really p*ssed off wondering what we are doing, so I ask him. He says we are going to Marysville to get parts for the car first. Grrr....but oh well. So, when you hit Marysville, the road forks. If you go to the right, its the city part where all the stores/restaurants/businesses are. If you go to the left, its more where the houses/parks/and a few businesses are. Well, he goes to the left, so I immediately knew what he was up to---there arent any car places to the left. There is this train park in Marysville, that you get to by going left at the fork. It this nice park, with an old train there to play on. Its where he gave me my promise ring. So, like I said, when he took that way, I knew what he was doing, and just smiled and felt bad for being such a B*tch! So, we get to the train park, and he says the normal gushy things---how much he loves me and cant wait to marry me(since we had already decided together to get married, it was the usual "Will you marry me?"). And he told me that I deserved a real proposal and hes been so excited all day to do this, because he knew how Id react, LOL. Well, turns out, his mom and him picked up my rings before they got home, and thats what was taking them longer than I expected. So, thats our proposal story, and I love it!
What was Kylie's nursery decorated in?She didnt have a nursery---we were living in a 1 bedroom apt when she was born, so we shared a room. We moved into a 2 bedroom when she was 2 months old, but arent allowed to paint, so her walls are white. But its sort of a princess theme, with lots of pink and purple, and princessy things.
Do you have any family traditions?Joey and I started the tradition for Kylies first Christmas of opening some nice jammies on Christmas Eve to wear to bed that night, than going and laying in bed as a family and watching 'Elf' and sipping hot cocoa. When I was a kid, we always went Christmas caroling--my dad still does with whatever of my siblings are around to go. Joey and I try to go to Copper Harbor (the northern-most city in Michigan, about 45 mins from where we live) the first or second weekend of Oct. The fall colors are so beautiful, and its all trees along the way, so its such a nice drive. We didnt go last year though. The university has Winter Carnival every year---all the organizations/groups/frats/sororities build snow statues starting the beginning of the second semester. Well, the last night of the statue building is called the all-nighter, because everyone participating stays up all night finishing their statues for judging the next day. Well, during this night, they have lots of festivities on campus. We always go, and its a tradition of ours to get a bowl of the chili they pass out, as well as a deep fried snickers. Well, this year, the chili was awful, and my snickers wasnt deep fried all the way--the batter was still doughy. So I just took it back and didnt get another. It sucked this year....But, I think those are it for traditions so far.
All about you
Would you ever do a reality tv show?I really dont know, depends on what type of reality show it was, but prolly not
Do you like to sing karaoke?Heck yes, but only if someone sings with me, LOL
Where would you love to go on vacation?Id love to go back to Charleston, S.C.
How do you discipline Kylie? She gets time-outs, but rarely. She is a very well behaved child---although she is really starting to push it, terrible twos have hit our house, LOL.
Rain/Snow?Rain, but only if its those big, soft droplets with the sun shining!
Favorite ice cream?vanilla
Favorite candy bar?Butterfinger
Do you play the lottery?Nope
Do you have a fetish? (Extensive amount of shoes, etc?)Purses, but Im sort of over that one, and clothes/shoes for Kylie
What is your biggest fear?Well, Im not necessarily afraid to die, but Im afraid of dying and leaving my babies mommyless. I know that I will die someday, but I hope its not for a long time, when my kids are grown with their own families. I would hate for them to grow up with out me.
What is your middle name?Renee---but not legally. Somehow, for some reason, it never got put on my birth certificate---so its not on my SS card or my license. But, it was my parents intention to name me Adrienne Renee
What name do you have picked out for your baby? If you aren't sharing, is the baby going to be named after anyone in particular?Well, we had picked out the name Isaac Joseph (Joseph after hubby), we even made a piggy bank with the name Isaac on it, LOL. But, I decided I didnt care for the name anymore. Im really leaning towards Mason Joseph now, and Joey is thinking about it. He told me that was okay, but I want him to really make sure hes okay with the name---I dont want him to 'settle' on a name just because I like it.
What features from you do you want your little one to have? How about features from your hubby?I just dont want him to have Joeys feet---they are ugly, LOL. Other than that, hes going to be beautiful no matter what, so I dont care what features he gets from who. Even if he does get Joeys feet, its all good
Were you popular in high school? What "crowd" did you hang out with?I graduated with nearly 400 people---I knew most of the people I graduated with and was friends with about 80% of them. I cant say I was popular, but cant say I wasnt. I really dont know. I had lots of friends, even with kids in lower grades. I didnt hang out with a specific crowd, I hung out with them all. This is me bragging a little----I was voted friendliest female in my class, out of all those people!!!
If you had to live in another country, which would it be?Hmmm--I really dont know. Maybe Canada, since I live so close anyway, or Norway, maybe Germany.
Do you have any phobias?Im afraid of the dark, but not the dark itself, just my vulnerability when Im in the dark.
Did you go to college? If so, for what?I did not go to college
What did you want to be when you were younger?A secretary, LOL---thats still the job I would want if I wasnt a SAHM.
If you could have any career, besides SAHM, what would it be?As stated above---a secretary. I love organizing things, I love pens/highlighters/office supplies, LOL---Im a freak
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?My dependancy---Ive come to rely on Joey so much, I wouldnt know what to do without him (for a lot of things). I dont even like to drive anymore because he drives everywhere for me.
What is your pet peeve(s)?Reading the dictionary, LMAO---there is a story behind this---Joey and I were watching the show 'Blind Date' like 5 years ago, and the guy on this specific show liked to carry around a dictionary, just to read it, and look up words if someone said a word he didnt know. He even had the dictionary with him on the date. Well, while the were having dinner, the girl was trying to get to know him, and asked him what his pet peeve was. His response--'Reading the dictionary'. LMAO---it was hilarious---youd think with him being an avid dictionary reader(LOL) he would know what pet peeve meant--guess not. So anyway, Joey and I like to say that as a joke. But, as far as real pet peeves, I dont really have any, I try not to let little things bother me (although, during this pregnancy, a lot of little things bother me!!)
If you could build a house right now, what style would it be?Prolly more on the old fashioned side, with some modern touches
What is your decorating taste like?I just like things to be very 'homey'---Im not into big open spaces, with no home feeling to them
What are some of your dreams?Im living my dream right now---being a wife, and mommy(SAHM at that). I couldnt ask for anything better!
Is money important to you?No---it was for a while, when I moved out of my dads house---we had so many kids growing up that I didnt have a lot of material things, so I went on a kick for a few years where I liked to spoil myself. But, since Kylie was born, Ive really learned the value of a buck and dont want to spend as much. Obviously, I need money for basic living, so yes, its important, but not in the way that money makes me happy.
Do you collect anything?I collected porcelin dolls for a long time, but it got to the point where I didnt have room for them. So, I asked people to stop buying them for me(I usually got them for bdays and Christmas). I also like to collect pencils--you know when you go on vacation and you want to get that one little souvenier, I always grab a pencil that has the name of the place I was visiting.
