OMG!  Ya'll are the best... I am slowly making my way out of lurkdom and am getting back to "me". Its been a rough patch, but Im trying really hard to move through it. This weekend is bittersweet as DH and I are painting and decorating the nursery. Of course in the back of my mind Im praying its not all for naught- but I have to say I am really enjoying myself and the time with Les. I guess maybe just the reality of everything kinda hit me and it was a bit overwhelming- but Ill bounce back- I always do!
Thanks for all the love, thoughts, prayers and support! It really means a lot, and I can definitely feel it! HUGS!

I actually have really grown to LOVE my name... When I was an adolescent, I changed it and went by my middle name (Erin) for several years as it just fit my personality better then I thought. But, now, I love the name Emily- I think its very classic, timeless and romantic without sounding stuffy. It also has strong meanings (depending on what origin you pick, but they are all good), and it is a name that transitions well from being a young child to being a grandma without sounding silly- KWIM? And, if youre into it- its always been one of those names that is well loved by many and thats reflected in the "popular names lists". I cant tell you how many years it was the #1 girls name, but I know its always on the list of the top choices! HTH and I think its a great choice! (And nah- Im not too partial....)

Well, its not too impressive at all really at this point, LOL! We are just doing the cleaning and initial painting. We are doing the walls in an off white, then doing a border and using wall appliques with some hand drawn stuff intermingled. This weekend is the cleaning and wall prep and the prime and paint stage. Next weekend I hope to get the border and appliques up. Furniture is due to arrive the end of the month- so we need to get crackin! Ill take pics as soon as there is something cute to see, hehe...

Glad you are getting back in the saddle. It just ain't the same w/o you here! The nursery...I bet that is fun to do. It is so easy to get all wrapped up in it. Even though I didn't get to paint or even be up there, I enjoyed everyone helping & running up & down the stairs w/ the camera to show me pics. Enjoy the time you have w/ Les & that precious one inside you. This is a time to remember & embrace.
