I guess you could call me a man, I usually try things atleast once without reading the directions. I always end up having to redo it and read them anyway.

I'm a direction reader! Guess it's the teacher in me...DH never reads directions first...drives me crazy!

Im a worry wort... I read the directions and every word in the instruction manual before doing anything, LOL! My DH on the other hand is anti-directions- and needless to say, usually breaks things or they dont work properly, so he has reinforced my belief and nurotic tendancies to read everything!

I tend to read the directions unless it's something pretty simple. My DH reads them but doesn't seem to follow them

It just depends. If it's something easy and I know I can do myself, I'll forego the directions, but if it's something new and complicated, I'll read.

I ususally read the directions unless its something really easy that I know I can do without them. DH never reads them and ends up screwing things up, getting frustrated and hearing me say "you should've read the directions". lol

I usually try it without reading them first, then get frustrated and end up reading them anyhow. DH reads EVERYTHING before he starts...lol.

I Have Not Been as Active as I Would Like on This Board So I am Going to Try to Post ALOT More Than I Have Been.... Starting Here... LoL...
I Usually Read Directions for EVERYTHING.... Occassionally I Will just Skim Over The Directions When I am Cooking But Them Sometimes I End Up Doing Something Wrong... So For The Most Part I Read Directions for EVERYTHING....

It depends...if it is fairly easy, then I don't read directions but if it is something like putting together furniture or cooking a specific recipe, then I follow them.

i'm totally a direction reader. i'll often be putting something together with my hands, sitting on the floor, holding the pages of the direction manual with my feet, and reading out here "Put slot A with B, screw in hole P, wait a minute, why do i have some screws left over?"
