SO I went to the doctor last night. He is on call on Sunday nights, so I called his cell phone, and he told me to come straight in. I was having this strange sensation down there, the only way I could explain it was it was like getting shocked or electrocuted.....very painful. And I had a large amount of clear fluid discharge. So I went in and they strapped me up, we found out that I am still having contraction I jsut can't feel them....weird thats a first
He did a swab test and it wasn't amniotic fluid....but there was still a lot there so he thought was weird too. They tested for infection, nothing there. My cervix has softened a little more, but not all the way.
Unfortunately my doctor was dumbfounded....UGH He did take me down and checked on the baby wih the U/S machine. To look at the fluid levels, which were normal still. But while he was looking around, he did some measurements and looked at all of her and has decided that we are going back to my original due date of June 29th. He thinks that the move to the 17th was incorrect cuz it was based on her size, not on the development of her organs. UGH so I am no longer due on the 17th *sigh* He just thinks I am going to have a very long baby, that he height is measuring 2 weeks ahead. I have officially been moved back to the 29th......this is so annoying. Not so much with the change of due dates, just that had we known this before we would have been a lot more concerned being so much further away from the viability state than we really were. Anyone who has seen a pre-mature baby knows that the difference in almost 2 weeks is HUGE. I don't blame my doctor for this, he wasn't there for the U/S the technician and the radiologist who read the U/S are idiots in my opinion, and he was going off what they based their info on. BLAH so anyways thats my update for the beg of the week.....not due till June 29th now. Which puts me at 26 weeks and 1 day.

im so sorry that they moved you back rachel, but if you look at the positives - at least they wouldnt be inducing you earlier than necessary if it came down to it....plus its good that they finally know where shes at in her development so that she can be monitored correctly....also if god forbid you did go into pre-term labor they would know what to expect as far as treating her in the NICU ....
i dont know what to think either about what you felt....i wish there was an explanation for everything - and it sucks because sometimes even doctors dont know whats going on...
i have faith that all will be well with little Serenity....shes a fighter if shes anything like her mommy.....maybe me and her need to have the pep talk again?...WDYT???
Sorry they bumped your due date back, but whatever is best for little miss
Did he say anything about the contractions or the liquid besides that he didn't know what it was? I mean I know if he sent you home then you probably ok, just wondering if he gave you any type of answers or instructions.

I'm sorry about them moving your due date back and not being able to give you an explanation for what you're feeling. It's got to be very frustrating! I hope little miss Serenity decides to bake for at least another 10 weeks. It's obvious you've got a fighter in there!
Sorry to hear about your due date being moved. I'm glad to hear that you were able to see your doc on a Sunday night though! That has gotta be the best thing about living in a small town?! I hope that b/c you can't feel contractions that, that means they aren't strong enough to change anything. Keep us posted!

Oh I am sorry they moved you back Rachel. Like Kacie said though it is good they know now though. Were just glad little Serenity is hanging in there though!!
Awww, that's a bummer sweetie, I"m sorry they moved your due date, but at least they can be more prepared if she does come early, they'll know what to expect. I hope you get to feeling better and those contractions stop!
The only thing he said was to monitor the discharge if it increases or changes then to come straight back. And he threatened me and told me that if the contractions don't stop that I'm going to be put back on strict bedrest.....but he did increase my Terbutaline again so I'm back to every 4 hours instead of 6
Thanx for the support tho ladies!!! You really made me feel a lot better about being upset!
