The longest car trip we've taken with Aaden was almost 7 hours to Branson, MO, when he was 14 months old. For the most part, it wasn't bad. He slept quite a bit, and if he wasn't sleeping, he was content just hanging out. We have NO plans for a long car trip coming up. Gas is too expensive!

The longest car ride Josh has been on is to and from JFK that is 4-5hrs. Thats been well over a year now. We had a 2hr car trip last week and another one coming up this coming Thursday to pick up Nikki's coworker from wilkesbarre airport. He slept almost the entire way home last week. We will see about this coming.

I agree about gas prices. They are insane.

We took him about 2.5 hrs to ride Thomas. He was fine, probably because on the way there he was excited and on the way home he was talking about it.

gas prices stink for me! It is over $80 to fill up my Tahoe.

We travel a lot by car. We live in Delaware and the farthest we've driven is to my parent's house in Florida about 1000 miles. We took 2 days going there and did it in one day coming home. We've done it twice with Ivy once when she was 8 or 9 months old and once this past Nov. when we drove to Disney World and then to my parents house near Tampa. We travel to Pittsburgh, about 300 miles mulitple times a year. All 3 of our kids travel very well.

Longest car trip, about 1.5 hours?

But our longest trip was to FL last May (depressing, I want to go back NOW!) which was a 1 hour car drive, then a 2 hour flight, and about a 30 minute bus ride to our resort.

She did really well, except for the flight there, she was super super crabby!

We're going back to Disney in 2 years for Isabel's 5th birthday (like we did with Brinlee), other than that no major traveling plans.

The longest ride she's been on is 2.5 hours to spend a few days with a friend of mine and her kiddos last summer. It went really well. Our double screen portable DVD player gets all the credit for that. The next time we'll travel that far is this summer when we go back to see my friend and her kiddos.

We went to Houston for the week right after Christmas in 2009. So, Max was 18 months old. It took 12 hours because it had snowed/ice a few days before we left home and there was still some iffy spots on the highway through OK and north TX.

He did well. We had books and a few toys to entertain him. We also have a DVD player in the van. He also took a couple naps.

We don't have any vacations planned right now.
