what's the funniest thing your LO has said recently?

the other day paddy wet his underwear a little, but i didn't have any downstairs to change him into so my idea was to temporarily put his sweatpants back on just until i could get upstairs to grab a pair. (i didn't want him to get cold.) within a minute he came walking over to me as if he was bow-legged and grabbing the crotch of his pants. i asked him, "did you pee again, buddy?" and his reply was "no, mommy - but my penis isn't safe. please go get my underwears."

Here is Landens newest dardest moment.

Driving to drop him off at daycare this morning, a car is parked at the corner and not moving.

Landen: Mom, why is the car not moving?
Me: I don't know buddy, I think he is waiting to see if his kid gets on the bus okay (lots of kids standing on the opposite street corner and other cars parked on other streets)
Landen: Well he is just being stupid.
Me: (Containing my laugh) Honey mommy doesn't like that word and you shouldn't use it.
Landen: What word?
Me: Stupid, it is not a very nice word and I don't like you using it
Landen: Well I like the word stupid and daddy likes the work stupid

Phone call to DH:
Me: Did you teach Landen to like the word stupid?
DH: Oh the other day when we were driving and I was hitting all the red lights because people were going so slow I might have said they were all stupid and need to learn how to drive

Its funny how influential kids are.

Ha Ha these are good!

Yesterday I was picking up the twins from preschool and as we pulled up we could see the twins waiting inside the building behind the glass doors. From in the car Riley starts saying "Reagan? Reagan?" and then she gets all angry and says "Aw mom, why isn't Reagan answering me?"

"Mommy, I think it is time to go to bed. I am not doing the poopy dance." She likes to poop in diapers still, but I am breaking her of that habit. She did go in teh potty about 2 minutes later.

Oh I got another one today. Ry & Rae have a stoplight alarm clock in their room. Red means it is time to sleep, green means it's time to wake up. So this morning I hear, "Mom, it's Green O'clock!"

I always joke that Jake's dad is Ray Rice (yeah, I know, they look *so similar*. Well, if you ask Maddie who Jakes Daddy is she laughs and says "Little Ray Rice, Mommy". She has just started, with no coaching from me, saying "Mommy, my real Daddy is big Ray Lewis".... haha, sorry honey, you didn't get any of those genes, lol.
