Have you decided on the crib you're getting? (Post pics if you can!)

This is something im having trouble with. I LOVE the look of the sleigh style cribs but hate the fact that the side isn't a drop down one. On the other hand w/the drop down rail cribs i don't like the looks of them as much.

These are a couple of the styles i like:

This is what most of the drop down style cribs look like:

I'm trying to decide wheather i should just compromise and live w/o the drop down side or what. The reason im concerned is because im only 5'1 and i like how low the drop downs get.

I have the crib for you!!! It looks like a sleigh crib but the sides drop down. Let me get in uploaded here, this is the crib I'm getting!

Ok here you go. I'm getting it in the maple which is what the toddler bed is in. Its a convertible. But in black is how they show you what the crib looks like. Its like 339 right now on sale but its originally 399.

And the changing table I'm getting that matches.. they have a dresser and a hutch too.

Its on JcPenny's website.

We're going with this crib, it's from Walmart. It's the same identical one Shaun has and as Gavin will be 'rooming' with Shaun I thought it would be nice for the boys to have all matching furniture

We have a matching dresser/hutch and will be purchasing a matching 5 drawer draw (that doesn't sound right! but you know what I mean - drawer draw? )

I have been really happy with Brennan's crib. it drops down on the side and turns into a toddler bed then a full size bed! If we have a girl I will be getting this same crib in Black, if it is a boy, we will probably buy the same one or move Brennan to a different toddler bed and use his again, not sure yet.

Here is a picture of Brennan's crib in his room!!

That one looks like the one I'm getting. Do you know the brand or model? Mine is Bella by Savanna.

We have a bellini crib/set that we got used (in great shape) when Evan was born... that is what we will use. It changes into a toddler bed. The neighbor gave me a toddler bed for Evan, so that worked out perfectly. In time we will sell the bed/changing table/glider and get bunks if both are boys.

Ooooh! I love that! Yeah.. thanks for posting that! A lot of us may end up with that crib & furniture set! My fav. color in furniture is Cherry. Do you remember if they had that? Well I guess I could go look haha!

*edit* ok I changed my mind! I looked on the JCPenny website and found this set:

For some reason my laptop won't let me save the picture. I have a MAC. Maybe that's why? Anyway, I LOVE THAT! In cherry!

I think nurseries and baby furniture is so dang cute, it's just so impractical for us! I wish I could bring myself to spend money on it but I just can't. LOL!!! Very beautiful though

I don't think they did. I think it was only white, black, maple, and walnut. But I could be wrong.

I'm getting the maple because it goes nicely with my bedroom furniture and since the baby and I are rooming together for the first year or two, I figured I'd get something that would match my things.

I agree. Kailey's crib clashed with our bedroom and it annoyed me. LOL!

This is the one we have for both dd and we bought this set for the new baby

We absolutely love it. We have the 4 drawer dresser and the short dresser with the hutch. Personally I like not having drop down sides. I don't have to worry about dd getting the side down or anything.

I will use the same crib I have used for all of them. It's a cherry wood sleigh crib.

We will use the crib we have now. I figure by 6 months, the other baby will get out of the mini crib and into this one.

I like the cribs all of you picked. I want to get one with a drop down side because my friend said she got one without a drop down side and when she would reach over the side she scratched up the crib with her belts because she was so short. I like the sleigh cribs that all of you picked. Great ideas.
