Is there anyone else still nursing an older one? Anyone with plans to tandem nurse?

I so badly want Leila to nurse until she is at least 2 so we are working through all the bumps and hurdles of nursing while pregnant. I just wanted to know if anyone else is going through the same....

*raises hand* We're actually weaning Marcus but he's very stubborn and loves his boob so I'm doing it very slowly. My goal is to have him off the boob and sleeping completely through the night before this baby gets here

I'm still nursing my 14 month old. My supply has already drastically decreased though, so I suppose another month or so and we'll be done. I'm ok with that. If my supply wouldn't go away during pregnancy I may consider tandem nursing, but it does...every time...it usually makes for easy weaning though!!!

I have noticed my supply has dropped a ton too. Luckily Leila so far seems to be very much a comfort nurser so I am hoping she keeps it going. I am eating tons of oatmeal and hoping for the best.

My experience may not be your experience! I've heard of lots of kids who didn't care one way or another if there was milk or not. Mine always did, and just kind of quit. I do the 'don't offer, don't refuse' style though at this point. This is my 3rd time around at the whole 'nursing while pregnant' thing. One definite benefit to nursing the whole way through is that you don't have to start the 'sore nipple cycle' all over again when the new baby comes! Woo-hoo!

Yeah I have been surprised at how little my nipples actually hurt now. Is it typical for them to not be sore really at all in these early weeks?
