they have booked me in for a scan on friday 9th jan at 2pm
i spoke to my doc about this again today and they said just book in with midwife after new year and she would organise it!
im pleased but scared. i guess its official now!
still, it wont be too long and the kids are back at school then so i can relax a little. i will have to go alone which scares me but im sure il get through it.
im confused why the doc is saying one thing and the hospital another though

Not to be a pain but I don't get what the scare is. Is it about the twins? Or about being pregnant? What are the dr and hospital saying differently?

well the doc said he thought i would get a scan around 14 weeks (waiting time after booking in with midwife) but im scared because i will be around 11 weeks and the first scan i had showed problems and the second saying nothing very clear about the one on the ovary.
i just wish i wasnt going alone but even if mark wanted to come (which he doesnt) he would have to stay home to meet kids from school.
after 3 losses i guess that fear will always be there until im holding my babies

Sarah, I'll fly over and go with you! I keep praying that your little beans will be just fine. I know that waiting is so hard, especially when you want to know what is going on, but at least now you have a definite date, and it isn't as far away as you thought it would be.

im actually praying i get to wait for that scan because if i have to go sooner then that means something isnt right again. much as i want to know, id rather wait for that reason.
most of my friends have moved away unfortunatly so i dont really have anyone who could come. my best friend lives a 7hour ferry trip away from me so she couldnt come either.
im just going to keep praying that mark gets a back bone and decides he wants to come. it would be easier to put kids to after school club for an hour if he would just come with me.
right sarah, stop worrying about it. get xmas and new year out of the way first!!!

Sarah, everything is going to be just fine. I completely understand your fear though. Think positively, hun. I know it's hard, but stress isn't good for you right now either.
