I'm finally in the home stretch! Just 11-12 weeks until I meet Hayden. Wow this is going so fast. I'm at the point in the pregnancy where I can barely breathe unless I'm sitting upright because he's so high, and I have heartburn 24/7! It's all worth it now because I'm also at the point where I just barely have to graze my hand (with no pressure) on my tummy to feel him turning and moving all over the place.
I'm kinda sad because I have to drive Jesse to the airport today. He will be training in San Antonio for a week and he's never left me before! I've been away from him, but it was usually to visit a ton of family/friends and I was always busy + NOT pregnant, lol. This time around he's leaving me here and I will be bored all week without him. I'm probably gonna drive out there and visit him for a day or two and take Alayna sight-seeing on the river walk.
It's also a bummer because due to the flooding in our apartment the other day, we haven't been able to set up our Christmas tree and now Jesse will be gone for an entire week. He said he doesn't mind if I do it myself, and I just might so that Alayna can have fun helping me decorate the tree.
Yay for 27 weeks! I always thought 28 weeks was the beginning of the 3rd trimester? Hmm I don't know now I hope the week without Jesse passes quickly for you & you and Alayna have fun putting up the tree!
Congrats on the 3rd tri milestone! I know it is really weird when your husband leaves for a week at a time. Mine was gone half of November on two weeklong trips. That is great that you may make it out to see him and the Riverwalk though. Such a pretty location! Have a good week. Stay busy! That does help
Yay for 27 weeks!
It really is different when you are the one that is left at home. I don't hesitate to leave DH for 2-3 weeks at a time, but when DH leaves for a long weekend or a week, it is really weird--he works a lot, but knowing I'm alone is strange.
