So I have a little extra weight starting before pregnancy, so I do not seem to really look like I am pregnant just more getting a bigger gut. So I look at everyones cute pregnacy pictures and I am scared to put my beside the others.

Are there a lot of women here that don't post the belly pictures?

Hugs sweetie. Don't be scared, I bet you look adorable. But saying that there's never any pressure to post a photo of yourself....we can all imagine how cute your bump is

It's totally up to you what you decide, but don't ever feel ashamed of your body & the wonderful shape it is... it's hard at work right now!

I don't post pics either for the same reasons. I am carrying very high also, so that doesn't help because all my excess fat just pools below my cute belly making it horrifying...LOL

DONT feel like that with us.I was never in great shape and i just learned to love my body even more now when i look at my gorgeous baby bump. Everyone is the perfect the way they are(i think),and feeling beautiful is a state of mind.Love yourself like you love your bump girly and post some pics xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have only posted 2 and only just recently b/c I am not so comfortable in my own skin either. Having said that, this is my last time being pregnant and I do regret not having one belly shot from my first pregnancy, so I decided to swallow my issues and just post them.

I haven't posted any pics of myself/belly either. I'm a big girl (not always, but am now, lol) and I'm quite self consious. I see all the pictures of the other girls on here and think I look like a cow compared, lol. I may get up the guts to post one later, but it wont be showing the belly uncovered, thats for sure, lol.

Also, I do worry alot about who is on here looking at this forum. It took me a while to post my kids photos on here in the siggy, and I still didn't sign up for a due date buddy or the cyber shower, just because things like that worry me too. Those are other reasons I don't post photos really....but the main one being my size

you can post pics in your clothes if you feel more comfortable. i feel (and hope) that we're not a judgmental group of ladies. i'm sure you look beautiful! my pics are all cropped of just my chest down to my thighs ... that's very much on purpose b/c i HATE my face with pregnancy - my skin is broken out so bad! we all have things that bother us! *hugs*

I hate having my picture taken while pregnant so I have never posted any either. But I am thinking about posting some soon and trying to get over that. Everyone is beautiful and I love seeing pictures of everyone's bellies!

Please don't feel pressured to, because you need to do what makes you comfortable. But the other ladies said it well... We are all different shapes and sizes, especially now that our bellies are all getting big. I love seeing the belly pics, and I think they are all beautiful! So if you have a change of heart, I can't wait to see. We are always tougher critics of ourselves.

I just wanted to ditto everything everyone else said. We totally understand if you aren't comfortable and you will never be pressured to post if you don't want to. That being said, we would all love to share in your baby bump if you become comfortable enough to post. If nothing else at least take pics for yourself...even if you don't want to share them you may want to look back at them later. Hugs!

I really appreciate everyones comments and they really mean a lot. I think that I might get DH to take a picture of just belly with shirt on and work on posting that! That's again so much for everyones advice!!

I haven't taken belly pictures yet... partly because it isn't convenient and partly because frankly I don't look that pregnant. I mean, it is starting to show some and my belly is quite firm under my chub. Post some pictures if you like, no need to be afraid. As for me, I just haven't gotten around to it mostly. Posting pictures is kind of a pain in the butt for me, and when I finally get around to it, I do great swaths at once.

I don't post them because I'm not comfortable with how I look at all. I try to remember to take them for my scrapbook though. I tend to have a couple of weeks between them now just because I am so forgetful. I keep trying to talk myself into maternity pictures as well for the same reasons. Do what makes you feel the most comfortable hun. *hugs*
