I so love my MIL right now!!!
So she told DF that as our shower gift she wants to either pay all the furniture for the nursery or professional movers for our move to our house this summer!
I jumper right away on the movers! DF already wanted to hire some since we are atm on the 4th floor so bringing ALL our stuff down is a pain! Those things cost like ALOT and I know my family will want to help out with the furniture so we picked the moving fees!
Such a weight off our shoulders, the truck, the workers, even our boxes, pizza and beer (not for me obviously lol) will be paid for!!!!!

We especially wanted this move to go smoothly since I am due the same day haha! But we have like 10 family members / friends that will make sure everything is perfect for my return
I'm just so happy and I feel so blessed!

That is so great! It must feel really good to have one less (major) thing to worry about. I'm interested to see what my parents want to do - not because I'm expecting big gifts or anything, but because it's the first grandchild.

I know

Oh and nvr.4.gtn,
I am considering getting the Carry-Me-Near 5-in-1 Sleep System for the "in case" the baby comes early, because we will NOT be putting up the crib at the appartement hehe! That way we will have a place for the little one to sleep! Hopefully I will go over my due date! Even if I will be super uncomfortable I would LOVE to have things set up/ in place before!

Stephanie, a pack n' play or something similar is a good idea just in case baby comes before or during your move. That's so nice of your MIL to offer to do something like that, that's not a cheap "gift" so I would be so thankful for her too! One less major thing to worry about! Hugs to your MIL! Send her a nice note of thanks, or even flowers!

That's a great gift! It's got to be stressful to move and be pregnant (or have a newborn). I might be in the same situation this summer, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!
