I went to my midwife and peed in a cup this afternoon. I woke up with horrible bladder pressure -- i feel like i need to pee every 5 seconds No burning or anything, but just tons of pressure.

cranberry juice is good, but its actually hard to find. it has to be real crqanberry juice, not the concentrated sugar kind.
They sell cranberry pills, those work great!!!

I had a bad one a few months ago. It started slow, so I thought I could get it to go away on my own... well I went to church that morning and I was fine, just felt like I had to pee all the time, then I started to feel bad. By the time I got home I rolled in a ball on the floor crying. DH had to take me tot he doc because it hurt so bad. It was traveling to my kidneys. OUCH!!!

What did the midwife tell you?

The midwife told me she cant give me any meds until they do the sensativities and cultures so i can get meds on monday if i do have a UTI. She said in the meantime, take cranberry pills since i hate cranberry juice and eat yogurt. So -- thats what i am doing. She also said increase my water intake, which i can only do so much cause water makes me nauseas.

This stinks. I've been in the bathroom every 15 minutes with trickles...... i have to work 8 hours tomorrow too. Ugh.

I am amazed she wouldn't give you antibiotics. Most docs will then they do the cultures, if the culture comes up different they change it, but its usually one type that causes it.

I would call your midwife and see if you can take the Azo bladder stuff. Its suppose to relieve that gotta pee urge. I am not sure if you can when pregnant though. You can always check safefetus.com and see what they say about it. But it might help you get through the weekend

I had corrective surgery in 2007 :-) No contacts!

The drugs did nothing. I got ZERO sleep and now i need to drag myself to work.

My bladder is KILLING ME.

My pee has been a wonderful shade of orange..... like deep orange. Quiet interesting to see on the TP lol.

Wellllll now that i have the bladder infection, my bowels work just fine thank you :-p Its my bladder that doesn't work :-p

I managed to snatch some amoxicillen from work -- i figure its AN antibiotic.. cant hurt...... FDA class B.

.....then my neck started itching.

So i look online at the molecular formula.

It has ONE sulfer molecule in it.

Im allergic to sulfer.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Dont care. Still taking it!

I have garlic pills here! I am taking them now Mrs. Nerdy-nerd-nurse :-p And yogurt! And Apple-Cran juice, and cranberry pills.
