ok so i was looking at my breast, originally i was checking for stretch marks. then i noticed my nipple had what looks like some water on it so i wiped it away. and a few mins later it was back. Then i thought it was puss. and i was like no its clear.
and i dont know why i thought to do this , but i was like "if i put one hand under and kinda cup it a do the same to the top and then squeeze a little..."

and more of this clear stuff came out of my nipple !?!?!? what on Gods green earth is that ?!??!?!? is it normal. I wiped it away with my fingers and it felt kinda oily.

wow... please someone help me out here... I ran in the lving room and showed DH what i did and the results, and he was like "omg put it back!!!" hah so that was kinda funny

Perfectly normal my dear! Your body is preparing for a baby to nurse. Sometimes women leak earlier than others. I didn't start leaking with Leila until I think around 18 weeks or so but every woman is different. Make sure to go pick up some nursing pads...you may need them if you don't want to walk around with milk rings seeped through your shirt!

OMG I had a laugh at this. Sorry, but your reaction is exactly what mine was with Marcus. I have an extremely sensitive let down so I was leaking like crazy from the beginning. Like, if i didn't wear breast pads to bed I would wake up in the middle of the night with a huge wet spot [like the size of a large dinner plate] on my bed. Only recently [since M just officially self weaned] have I been able to go without breast pads. Use some lotion on your breasts, like stretchmark cream to keep it from itching. Watch out going over the opening of the nipple though. you need to be careful or you can cause an infection. Do it on the areola and skip the nipple tip. Invest in some breastpads! You sound like me!

Like the other girls said, it is totally normal. I can't remember exactly when, but I do know that I leaked early as well with my first pregnancy. Somewhere before 20 weeks anyway. I had to start wearing breast pads. ALso for the itching, I use lotion. Helps a ton.

hey and soon enough you will. I use to tease hubby and say if he didn't leave them alone I was going to aquirt him in the mouth like a clown at the fair!!!

And yes it collostrum. I also started leaking very early with Nichole. By the time she was born I had to wear a towel under my hospital gown because I was soaking through. Nichole never lost weight at birth either as I had about 2 oz of collostrum on each side!! lol

Also having it early does not indicate that you will have extra milk, nor does not leaking mean you will not have milk

Also it took over a year for my breasts to dry up after Nichole weaned and now I have collostrum again

My breasts didn't start leaking until well into my third trimester, but it is perfectly normal.

Be prepared for them to possibly leak now and again after you dry up. Mine did and it scared the living day lights out of me.

Well nichole weaned in Oct. or Nov of 2007 and they didn't dry up until abot 2 months ago!! lol Now I have collostrum again!
