Hi ladies! I cannot believe it but I have been having some mild morning sickness with this pregnancy! Nothing serious...no throwing up, just some nausea in the morning. It is crazy because this is my third pregnancy...and I never had ANYTHING with my first two (and it does not mean a different gender because I already have a boy and a girl). I was just wondering what some of you ladies do to help relieve your nausea.
I am just in shock to be feeling this way at all! But, I guess I should still be grateful-I had two successful pregnancies with no MS and this is just mild nausea in the morning so I shouldn't complain. So, please tell me, what helps?

Drink a carbonated beverage or Gatorade and eat 6 small meals a day

Yes, don't eat 3 big meals, instead eat more smaller meals. Also, since you have it in the morning, keep a gingerale and saltines beside your bed and eat those before you even get up. Try to move as little as possible until you get those in your system.

For me the nauseated feeling doesn't go away till I throw up.

Have you tried sucking on candy? Sea bands, small meals??

I agree with Jenn. I've tried everything - but once I get up and get M/S, I feel better - so its almost worth it.

I have tried everything from gingerale to spicy ginger to dried plums (advice from Asian friend who swears by them) but nothing worked and my MS is All Day Long!! Finally, my DH did some research at his pharmacy and brought me home over the counter less drowsy dramamine. I took one and 30 mins. later NO NAUSEA!! The best thing is 1 worked all day! It is as safe as tylenol with the benfits of phenigrin. He even called an ob and she sent him a fax of the ok over the counter meds. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
