Has anyone dyed their hair?

I did with #2 while I was pregnant, but I had my hair grow out and it is all the natural color well last night I was bored and I have decided to dye my hair or put in highlights.

You're not suppose to during the 1st trimester.

My hair looks horrible, but I am waiting first week of April, once I hit 12 week mark.

I had my 1st appt yesterday and they said you shouldn't dye your hair in the 1st tri, but if you absolutely had to, to wear a face mask.

I got my hair highlighted at around 9 weeks with the high risk doc's approval. He said as long as I wasn't getting my scalp saturated with dye, it would be perfectly safe. In fact, he even said "Streaks or highlights are fine."

Do you mark the beginning of the 2nd trimester at exactly 12 weeks? I asked the advice nurse and she said it would start at 13 weeks.

The beginning of 2nd is 13 weeks. You have to go all 12 weeks in your first if that makes sense.

I'm getting mine done on 4/9. It's grown out and it looks AWFUL! I am getting it died to my natural hair color so when it grows out it won't look bad...I may get some highlights though.

I think I'm just going to do highlights. I don't know what they consider first trimester I never really thought about it. I just get to weeks haha. I never understand the trimester thing. All I know if 2nd trimester is 27 weeks.

from everything i've ever read getting your hair dyed is absolutely fine as long as you aren't locked in a room with no vents and no windows inhaling fumes.

I don't plan on not getting my hair done. Already got it done once in the 1st trimester, getting it done again next week.

I was told the same ... highlights were fine ... it was the full head dye jobs that are the no no no ...
