I found myself in some SERIOUS pain after lunch today that I haven't felt before.

I didn't eat anything new, or more than I normally do. Ate less than a 6" sub and maybe 15 minutes later felt excrutiating pain.
It was above my bellybutton, so I wasn't so much worried it was the baby- but it was enough to make me double over.
it sort of felt like a fist right below my ribs, so tight and painful. Wasn't burning.. just HURT like hell.

I've never had heartburn before, but I tried a tums to see if maybe that was the problem, didn't help.

it lasted for about an hour. Could it have been indigestion? Anyone else experienced this?
I'm baffled, and would like to avoid it ever happening again if at all possible!

It very easily could of been indigestion. But, if it happens again I would contact the Dr just to be sure. I have had gastritis which is inflammation of stomach lining and hurts like h***. Had to be put on some different meds to help it clear up. If you've had bad m/s with vommiting, that can easily do it. Hope it doesn't happen any more!! Good Luck.

No morning sickness at all. Once or twice about 5 weeks ago but nothing since. Thomas swears it was the bread from the sub expanding in my stomach.. but I eat subs pretty frequently and have NEVER felt that before.

Did you eat really fast? Sometimes that can happen if you eat really quickly. It may have been indigestion but for me that usually feels like a fiery feeling.

I was thinking maybe it was because my stomach had been pushed up by the baby.. but this was HIGH, right under my ribs. Never with Holden did I have pain like that, even when I ate too much.

I don't think I ate too fast.. I guess it could be possible, I was really hungry

I couldn't even eat dinner, i'm still suffering a little. Not laying out on the couch whining & moaning like I was earlier but enough for me to be afraid to eat and still hurting a little.

One of my only preggo symptoms currently is gas, and that's still pretty low
