Today I woke up and went to the bathroom first thing. When I wiped I noticed blood on the toilet paper. Then I looked in the toilet, and it was blood tinged. I did not have any cramping at all with it. I'm 10 weeks along now. My first ultra sound was at 7 weeks, and I did hear a heart beat. I called my Dr. and he said that this can be common, and if it persists to call him first thing in the morning to have another ultra sound. He also asked if my husband and I had intercourse last night, but we did not. Has this happened to anyone else?

i have not, but i think this is a pretty common thing that can occur. your doctor told you the same thing that most docs tell their patients, which is not to be too concerned unless the bleeding becomes heavy, persists and/or is accompanied with cramping

Ditto to Hayley. Just rest, drink plenty of water and pay attention to any cramping. If it doesn't stop, call the Dr back tomorrow. T&P!

I was spotting for four weeks in my pregnancy but chances are if you had a heartbeat and no cramping you are good because as long as the pregnancy is confirmed and its not ectopic some bleeding is common the first trimester.

I am having spotting too. I am cramping in my right side but I have a cyst so the dr. thinks its the cyst. If it gets worst I will be going to the doctor. I am a little nervous about it.

Hope it stops for you.

3 times now. once after trying to poop twice after sex. If you aren't cramping you probably don't have anything to worry about. Take it easy just in case

I was spotting and one time bleeding heavily. Everything is ok now. My doc told me to stay off my feet and drink lots of water. I know its scary but try not to worry.

I've been dealing with bleeding now foe a couple of weeks. So far things have been good. If its brown its a good thing but if it turns red or you have cramping you need to call the dr.

I haven't this time, but have in my previous pgs, its still worrisome though.

Try to take it easy and be sure to drink lots of water.
