I am getting impatient about this whole gender thing. Last time I went at exactly 12 weeks and they couldn't tell a thing. But I really want to get it done. Could they see something this time?

I just want to know pink or blue and if I have to wait until 14-16 weeks then fine and dandy. I have the nuchal screening tomorrow and I'm going to try and convince the tech to do a quick scan to see if I can see anything.

They can't tell the difference until at the earliest 16 weeks. Sorry. Besides giving birth the only other way to know for absolute sure what the sex is is by getting an amnio.

Sorry sweetie but I think it's probably way too early to tell. Those parts haven't even really developed much yet.

Why don't you get one of those Intelligender things and see what you can find out?

I unfortunately think it would be way too early to tell, those parts dont even really develop until around week 13.

The place I am going can tell at 14 weeks - we are going at 15 weeks. I read in one of my newletters that at 11 weeks the external genetalia is starting to become pronounced but it will take another 3 weeks for it to be complete and detectable. The place I am going has high tech u/s so they will be able to tell at 14 weeks, infact they advertise it as accurate gender with money back guarentee. Just drive to Columbus, Ohio....lol

UltraSona

With Xavier I had an u/s at 12 weeks and she saw his "nub" and gave us a 70% chance of it being a boy. I think a girl would be more difficult to determine so early.

See you do this to me and I want to get it done early. Last time at 12 weeks they said thy didn't know but I came out with a whole bunch of awesome pictures of the baby but at 14 weeks it was there. See going on April 1st they may want to April Fool me haha the baby might look like a girl but end up being a boy after months of pink clothing haha.

The parts aren't even there until 14 weeks, so it's impossible right now to know.

Yeah this early on you will not be able to tell the gender.

I wouldn't stress on it, you will find out soon.

Am i the only one not even thinking about it?? ha ha ha. I still dunno if we will find out or not.

With my last two pregnancies, I was obsessed with the gender, but this time I rarely think about it.....maybe it's because I'm still having a hard time believing that I'm actually pregnant.

Anyway, here is a link a friend of mine shared, a few days ago, in my 05 PR
http://www.baby2see.com/gender/external_genitals.html ......I found it interesting, and thought you may, too.

I never knew that. We went to see and at 12 weeks she was like I've seen 47 people and only found 4 boys and she was like I know that isn't right or everyone is having girls.

With my last pregnancy they sent me in for an u/s because I was measuring big...

My uterus was up high because it wanted to be but I was 15 weeks 1 day on u/s...

and they told me it was a boy...gave me a pic of the "junk" Hehehe
