I BF my first for 3 months and pumped for another month and then we had to stop. I'm hoping things will go better this time and we won't need bottles. For Ben the only kind he liked was the Gerber NUK. If we need them this time (even for pumped milk) I think I will try glass bottles to avoid BPA and stuff like that.

I had heard that Dr Browns bottles were really good... and that they were recalling them cuz of the BPA - did the redo them and all??

I think they offer some that are BPA free now but I don't know if they all are. I tried those with DS and didn't like them or the Advent bottles (too many parts to clean). I also hate Platex Drop Ins. The nipples on them are too big for little babies and they suck too much air. The kid I babysit had nothing but problems from sucking too much air with those. Plus you have to buy the stupid liners which create more waste.

I love the Playtex Drop-ins! They are AWESOME!! Super easy to use, easy to clean and you can get out all the air so it really helps with gas, etc.. I've used them with both girls and will use them this time also. They are also BPA Free!

With Andre the only kind he would take were the Avent. I hated the Avent, because they leaked BAD!! I hope with the next one, that we can use the Gerber one's or the Evenflow ones. Something that has few parts and are easy to clean!! I had a friend who used the Playtex vent aire wants and those had soooo many parts!

It's often found in plastic baby bottles.

I just use Gerber bottles and they work fine for us...

I like the clear Gerbers with the dark blue tops and bigger nipples

DR Browns glass. They were the only BPA free ones we could find for Holden, and the spit up almost completely stopped once we went from playtex ventaire to those.. and since we still have them and they're in perfect condition we'll be using them again (with new nipples of course).

A lot of things are BPA free now that it's out that BPA is so freakin bad.. not much for reflux babies other than glass though. Couldn't find the plastic dr browns anywhere, and born free bottles are SOOOO expensive.

If I do use bottles it'll be for pumping, and I really have no idea what is a good brand so this is a great topic. Always good to be prepared
