As you all know I have a 2 year old and really no time on my hands to be sick. I have been getting the preggers headaches for the past 3 days now. I remember having them through my pregnancy with DS but I was wondering if you ladies had any remedies for headaches besides having to pop tylenols everyday or lay in a dark room? I have to get it gone so I can resume my day!!!!

I've never had headaches that bad. Hmm...I know you can relieve headaches with anti-nausea meds though!

I haven't tried this yet but I read in a book if you take a scarf and tie it somewhat tightly around your head (starting at the forehead) for a half hour it's supposed to make the headache go away. I swear this was in one of my pregnancy books.

Also, sometimes caffeine will help ease the headache. When my friend was pregnant and had one of these headaches nothing worked better than sipping on a coke.

I hope it goes away soon !

last night i had DH rub my forhead lightly. did it help? no, but during it felt very theraputic! I would suggest to stay hydrated, if you cant do water gatorade has been helping me (drinking some now actually) and yeah, youd be surprised how much being dehydrated can aggravate a headache.

chug lots of water.. I remember reading one day that some like 98% of headaches are caused by dehydration.

Tylenol does nothing for me and I can't take the RX for them cuz it makes me feel crazy and knocks me out.

I just try to lay down and use ice packs on my neck and head.

Sorry girl!
