How much will you end up paying out of pocket for this pregnancy (all checkups, ultrasounds, labor and delivery)?

My insurance is pretty awesome (besides their customer service, but we won't go there ). I will only pay $50 for ALL of my pregnancy check-ups and my ultrasound (I only get one) and I only pay $250 for labor & delivery! Believe me, I know what a great deal I'm getting!

Not a cent. My IP's cover everything, and being in Canada, we don't have to pay for the OB or hospital.

I hate you all!!! We have to meet a $3000 deductible with our insurance. So i pay monthly till i deliver to pay it off. UNLESS I have to have a C-Section then our cost goes up to $5000-$8000 depending on what all has to be done and how long my hospital stay is.

Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna have to pay anything. Thank god, or this baby would have to stay inside me for a very long time.

We have a $2000 deductible but thats all we pay no matter what I need (no copays and 100% coverage after deductible is met).

I second that. Even with all the u/s I had with an off post provider with my last pregnancy and the babies extended hospital stays I paid nothing, Not a single red cent.

Well, dh's work just switched insurance, so now we have a $2000 deductable and then we pay 20% of the hospital bill, so we'll pay around $5000 OOP.

same here.. the downside is i don't get to pick a hospital or doctors or anything.. but they're usually pretty good so i'm hoping for the best! the main hospital here has such a bad reputation.. lol

Just got a letter saying that I pay nothing!!! No copays or deductible. In November during open enrollment I was going to switch from the high option to the standard option because the premiums went up...but I didn't which is WONDERFUL. If I did I would have to pay a deductible (only $250) and 20%. With DS, I was still under my parent's insurance and I only paid $100.
