This morning I'm getting ready for work and go to put my pants on. Went to button them and they wouldn't close. Well they would close but then I couldn't breathe. I looked at dh and was like omg my pants are too tight. Then I ask him the question that you should never ask but I did. "Do I look fat". He just looks at me like he wants to say no but you could tell he is thinking yup you packed on the pounds. I had to go to my back up capris. Thank goodness they still fit. LOL

You're pg, not fat. I hate that in between stage but am kind of wishing I would have at least spent more than 2 days in it this time. I am feeling very self conscious about how big I am. Seriously, when people ask me how far along I am and I say, "11 weeks", it is kind of hard to ingnore their confused looks. LOL!

DH does the same thing when I ask him if I look fat. A couple of weeks ago I asked him if I looked pregnant. He paused and then said...."Well.....it's kind of hard to tell." and he wasn't saying that because of flat stomach. LOL! Then I ballooned overnight and he and everyone else are constantly rubbing my belly because, well, it's just out there.

I am glad your back up pants work. I am afraid to try mine. I have just settled into my yoga pants and left it at that.

My pants won't button either, but I have DH trained well.. If I ask him that he instantly, without any hesitations, says No, not at all!

My pants were tight until I lost 17 pounds from being sick. Now they fit again even though I feel huge.

I had to go up a pant size until I could get a bella band. I hate the inbetween stage - we know we're pregnant but it's easy to think we're just looking a little thicker. Once it's truly a baby bump we can be loud and proud about our bellies!

And your poor dh, I have to sympathize with him. I can just imagine his deer in the headlights look (similar to my dh's) LOL

I love my dh...I said the other day I look fat he said, honey, you're pregnant...you're not SUPPOSED to be skinny minny...lol

I can still fit in my pants, only because they were big on me to begin with. I ended up buying some preggo jeans and a pair of preggo dress pants for back up...I still have the rest of my maternity clothes from Xavier that I will use.

I bought maternity capris and some shirts but I hesitate wearing them because I'm only 8 weeks. I know I'm pregnant but it still hurts. LOL

I know how you feel - Friday night, someone told me that I was already showing and looked "bigger".... and then today my boss told me you look... well, pregnant today....! It's my first, so I really wasn't expecting to show right away.... so overall, I just feel fat too

I hate the time in between being obviously pregnant and just feeling pregnant. Keep reminding yourself that you're pregnant and it's ok that your clothes don't fit!

Well I just got out last summer's clothes from when I was 30 pounds heavier. And guess what?? They BARELY fit. I had to go get back on the scale again to make sure I hadn't gained 30 pounds overnight

It's depressing but I keep reminding myself I felt that way last time too. Then all of a sudden I went to bed feeling bloated and fat and I woke up the next morning with an actual baby bump. I was such a happy person then!
