I think I am going to stop for a few days.

It hadn't helped me to not feel sick and I am STILL throwing up anyway. But I am SO SO SO constipated despite taking colace. I have not had a BM in like 4 or 5 days and im in pain.

I almost feel like that pain and such is making me feel even more sick!

Oh man. It sounds like it's making things worse! I'm so sorry that it's not helping you. How far into your pregnancies do you usually have this kind of nausea?

I was reading recently that someone had written that constipation can cause feelings of nausea... so maybe it is contributing to you feeling worse.

Hey there. I'm just lurking, but suffered terribly with my last pregnancy and wanted to chip in. Zofran made constipation horrible for me. I recommend you take Colace, it's a stool softner. My doctors had me take it and it helped.

Zofran unfortunatly only works to prevent vomiting, not nausea. You will still feel the nausea. Can you ask your doctor to pair the zofran with phenergan or something else to curb the nausea? Those two together may help you a great deal more.

HTH.

I took Zofran after my gall bladder sugery. It didn't help at all. They gave me Reglan and then I felt much better. Maybe your Dr could prescribe something else.

I know constipation can be uncomfortable. Have you tried any natural remedies like exercise and eating a lot of fiber to see if that helps?

It's very likely that being so constipated is making you feel so sick. I'd stop for a couple of days, drink some apple juice or drink some of the regularity drinks and I bet you'll feel so much better.

sadly I have been trying to drink apple juice and I have been taking colace 3 times a day per docs orders. I have tried coffee too.

I was like clock work before.

Try some light exercising. Sometimes that can get things moving!

I have definitely noticed that when I haven't gone for a few days the nausea is WAY worse than if I go say two days back to back. Things have seemed to only work for a few days for me then they stop completely. Ugh...

Hope you feel better soon.
