Hi there Hope you don't mind me starting a thread for us! Its exciting to be your DDB, especially since we were on the TTC board together for a bit.
Well, I'll re-introduce myself for ya. Im Jessica. Im married to my DH George for 3 years. We have a son named Zachary who will be 3 on June 9th. He has Autism and Marshall's syndrome (Pfapa) so we have concerns about the next baby (should it be a boy) having these two conditions as well. Every day is a new challenge with him, but he's starting to make amazing progress
As far as this pregnancy goes. We were TTC for 9 months and after long anovulatory cycles I quit charting in the middle of a cycle out of frustration, and on CD 68 I went to the doctors and found out I was actually pregnant! Awesome surprise that was. Currently I am 10 weeks along, and Im due on October 18th..but I will most definitely be having a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks, if I make it that far.
With my son, i had a VERY tough pregnancy, and I am high risk for this one as well. I was on bedrest from 19-37 weeks due to preterm labor and incompetant cervix. I'll be having a cerclage put in soon so hopefully we can avoid those problems this time around. I also have a pelvic kidney, and pregnancy induced high BP. So needless to say im high risk...lol.
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know more about you!
Oh no, definitely wouldn't change him for anything! He's SUCH a smart little guy. Knows his whole alphabet, can spell a few words, is learning to read, he can count, but when it comes to simple, everyday things, like feeding himself, he can't do them.
So when are you due? And how have you been feeling so far!?
omgosh yes!!! she SO deserves this!
I will have a scheduled c-section, probably no later than 38 weeks because I had a c-section with my first and my doctor isn't fond of attempting vbac.
You must have your hands full. My son drives me nuts sometimes lol Im still trying to grasp what im going to do with 2. He starts preschool 4x a week next year so hopefully that will give me the little break I need!
sorry ive been MIA! Things are going ok. My due date changed to Oct. 11th. And my cerclage should be in a nother couple of weeks. Im with you, i can't WAIT until it warms up. One day it 50 degrees here the next its barely making 30. Ughh!
nope didn't miss it I haven't posted it lol im a slacker. Its in my avatar but i should really start my own thread in the subforum lol.
I think I'll probably have another boy, though I reallyyyy would love a girl. I have to wait another month for my u/s though pfffft
