OMG what a terrible night I had ladies! I woke up around midnight with excruciating cramps. I was literally crawling on the floor crying in pain. I've never felt anything so painful in my life! I was so worried that I was losing the baby I almost woke DH up to take me to the hospital. Turns out the cramps were more stomach-related because I ended up dry-heaving & then I had to run to the toilet 3-4 times because of diarrhea. After I finished going to the bathroom I felt much better & the cramps went away. I finally was able to go back to bed around 2am. I don't know what caused all of this - I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary or spicy or anything. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Do you think the baby's OK? I know that I worry too much but this really scared me last night...

So I went to my Dr's office today at 1:15pm to get checked out. My regular Dr is on vacation, so I seen this woman Dr (who was a complete witch btw). She (& her student) checked me over. I lost 2lbs since my last Dr appt on 3-13, I was running a slight fever (99.2) & she could not pick up a fetal heartbeat on the doppler. She actually told me she didn't see how my Dr heart a heartbeat at my last appt b/c that was way too early, but whatever. They sent me to Radiology for an ultrasound. 1st ultrasound was done vaginally, 2nd one was regular. According to ultrasounds I am only 7 weeks along & no heartbeat was found b/c it was too early. So they sent me to get some bloodwork to check my beta levels. Beta levels came back at 26,000 which puts me 6-8 weeks along supposedly, but they never checked my betas before so they have nothing to compare it to so they really don't know if I'm still pregnant or if I miscarried. I'm supposed to go back Friday to have blood checked again. If I am still pregnant I really don't understand how I could only be around 7 weeks! The start of my last period was 1-9-09. I am absolutely certain of it! I am so stressed out! I've been crying all day ~ I feel so empty. I'm still not bleeding & no more cramps but why can't they tell me what's going on?! I need honest opinions ladies, what do you think my chances are that the baby is still ok? I'm just dying not knowing...

It does sound stomach related and I think your baby is fine. But I also think you should call your OB and tell them to see what they say. I hope you are feeling better.

If it helps at all, we went to Mexico the day after I found out I was pg with my 5th (we already had plans and it was to see Dh's family so we couldn't cancel). I never drink the water and none of my kids did. We were so sick when we got back with vomiting and diarrhea but my little bean was just fine. I also had a horrible stomach bug when pg with my 7th and lost 11 pounds over the weekend. He was just fine, too.

Ugh that sounds awful. I hope you're feeling better. It could be a stomach bug or something. I'd give your OB a call and let them know what's going on. They may want to see you to just make sure everything is ok with the baby.

I get them sometimes just because I have to go to the bathroom. I cry. I think maybe it has something to do with my bowels and not my belly. I think your bean is fine though!!!! Hope it all goes away.

Well, I called my Dr's office. They want me to come in this afternoon to check me over just in case, so I'll let you ladies know what they say. Thanks for the support.

How scary! I'm glad everything turned out all right and it was just a stomach thing. My digestive system has been sensitive ever since I got pregnant and I've had to deal with gas cramps and bouts of diarrhea like that a couple times. Drink lots of water, 'cause you don't want to get dehydrated *hugs* And I would still bring it up with your doctor even though it's nothing serious.

Omgosh that same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago.. I was literally woken up at like 1 am in so much pain and then sat on the toilet for like 2 hours and had a bucket infront of me so I could throw up at the same time..

My theory is maybe some sort of food illness.. i think were more suseptable when were preggo! I hope you feel better today!

I had that a few weeks ago. The cramps were so painful I felt like I was starting labor. But in my case it was just something I ate, baby was fine.
I'm glad you're going in to the doctor's just to be on the safe side. Definitely KUP

I have noticed that some things that used to taste good to me now make me sick. Maybe it was just something that gave you a 24 hr stomach bug. l'm sure that your baby is just fine. Make sure you are drinking LOTS of fluids so that you don't get dehydrated and keep your diet bland for a day or two.
