So I bought a bella band today from target and i'm not sure that i'm happy with it. It doesn't stay up and when i sit down it slips over my pants so it's really not functioning all that well. Also, i don't feel like it conceals the unbuttoned part of my jeans very well, i feel like there is a big bulge where it should be smooth when buttoned. anyone have any tips for more comfort?

Maybe your bought too small of a size?
That material is really sensitive and that's why I felt a certAIN way about buying em.

For me, it depends on the jeans - it worked perfect with my tighter jeans (not baggy) and stayed in place. I made sure to put the bottom of the band all the way down to the bottom of the zipper fly. However, as soon as I tried it with baggy jeans - it would slip up in the back when I sat down for some reason.

As for the bulge, I folded it over and made sure to wear a longer shirt or sweater so no one saw it. I had been using it for while, but now I bought non-panel jeans with just a little elastic on the sides and they are much more comfortable than the bella band.

I never bought a bella band, I can't pay that much for just that.

I went and got those spandex lycria like tanks (they usually have a built in bra, got them in way smaller sizes than what I need, cut the straps off and there you go and they are like 1/2 the price!

Thanks guys! U have made my decision for me, Ill be going maternity shopping instead of getting bella bands lol. I think it might be just for skinny ******** who never have a problem with spandex sliding... get my drift?

Probably. Darn all of you skinny *******!!!! JK. I was hoping it would help keep me from buying maternity pants for a lil while longer, but I guess not. I'm going to try to return it and get jeans instead. Besides, i have to wear jeans to work and have my shirt tucked in and i wouldn't be able to do that wearing the bella band.

I'm glad I didn't get the bella band after all. They were all out when I finally got to a Target. I was so mad at the time, but am happy now! I'm a fluffy mommy so I have a feeling it wouldn't work that well for me.
