Your hair and nails can grow longer and stronger during pregnancy mostly because of the prenatal vitamins! I don't want my hair to change. It's already to thick and all.

I had a bout of alopecia a few years back and now I'm freaking out that it'll come back with me being pregnant. (alopecia has been linked to pregnancy) So I'm constantly checking for bald spots. I finally got my hair to the length I want it. I don't want to have to shave it again!

My hair has been growing fast since we have moved to the south. I had just got all the length cut off just last month and it is already growing out.

Before the cut

After the cut

Now just a little over a month later

I so need to get it cut again. I didn't get all of a perm that I had cut out and I am so sick of those wanna be curly ends.

corey your haircut is/was so pretty! its a shame shorter cuts grow out so fast. My hair is growing faster but its become more oily too- I have to wash it every day now.

Yeah, well... When you have dark brown hair all this hair growth suuuuuuuucks! I shave my legs and within hours you wouldn't know. It's also much darker and thicker, now, so even when I do shave I have dots all over my legs. I also have to wax my upper lip and I'll maybe get 3 days out of it before it grows back! You're supposed to get weeks! WEEKS!!!

I can't wait to wear a bathing suit.

Hair and nail growth is great during pregnancy.

Old wives tale that legs & underarm hair grow thicker when its a boy, seems to be atrue for me... with my son that happened... isn't happening as much this time but i'm still early.

Yes this on the vitamins... but for me pregnancy is a GOOD thing on my hair, after birth it will fall out though.

That was one of the first things i noticed before i found out i was pregnant. I would shave my legs and the hair would grow back SOOOO much quicker. maybe it's a boy..... the hair on my head is so thick and growing fast now which i love because i am trying to grow it out.

LOL! Yes you will notice that you shed a lot less when you shower too. And then about a week after you give birth, it falls out in clumps! I remember FREAKING when I was about a week post partum and the hair in the drain was alarming!!

I've noticed I'm getting dark sporadic hairs on my belly (again). Time to invest in a heavy duty razor!

You know, this is one of my reasons for thinking boy. With my first 2,even with my m/c I didn't notice any change in hair growth and this time, my hair is growing so fast. My leg hair is ridiculous and when I shave, it's back the same day and so annoying.

The hair on my head and underarms are growing really fast, the hair on my legs has slowed W-A-Y down. Which is good because I hate leg hair stubble and I don't have to shave as often now.

I was the exact same way when pregnant with dd.
