i feel like there is something lodged in my throat, i have had a lot of vomiting as you know and i really dont think there is anything there but it burns really bad and it feels like i have a burning lump in my throat when i swallow. has this ever happened to anyone? it really hurts
The stomach acid could have irritated your throat lining. Causing the burning and lump sensation. Try drinking only cool liquids and even hot tea with honey and lemon juice in it to sooth your throat. I hope it gets better for you.

I'd ask your Dr for something else. Just because one thing doesn't work doesn't mean nothing will help. I had my gallbladder out in December and got really sick from the anesthesia. They gave me Zofran for a while and it seemed to make it worse. Then they tried Reglan and I felt so much better.
I had that when i was vomiting blood.. the burning hot sensation.. And the only thing that helped it was ice.. it is so painful and just really uncomfortable so i know how you feel.. Mine went away after a day or so.. because i stopped throwing up so it could heal. I did EVERYTHING in my power to just not throw up.. definately keep up with the cold stuff.. I really reallly hope you feel better
