I just found out 30 minutes ago that my brother is in the hospital. He tried to kill himself by over dosing on pills. His kidney's are failing. He was having marital problems and has been trying to get out of this marriage. Unfortulatly his wife is very controlling and possessive. I want to be there right now but it is just not feasible since he is in GA and I am in KS. His wife won't give us (his family) any information and told the doctors and nurses that if we call to not release any info and to transfer the call to her. My mom and stepdad are on thier way to the hospital to try and get more info. Please just say some prayers for my family. I am trying not to stess because I know it is not good to stress when pregnant. Hubby is doing a great job helping me stay calm and not stress. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers
UPDATE: Thanks for the prayers. My brother is starting to imporve. Every day his liver function is improving. His Kidney's were getting worse so they did dialasis yesterday and he had a HUGE improvement. They are going to do dialasis again today and if he improves as much as he did yesterday then they will be moving him out of ICU. They are hoping that he won't be stuck having to dialasis as a regular thing but only time will tell. My mom said he is actually starting to talk. He would wake up but wouldn't talk. Yesterday he woke up and was talking. My mom said he is very hard to understand. Apparently he had a dream and in the dream I walked by his hospital window so when he woke up he started asking for me and saying that he wanted his sister and he knows I am there. (THis is occuring in GA and we just moved from GA to KS 3 months ago.) If he gets moved out of ICU then he will have a phone in his room and I will be able to talk to him. I hope they move him today!!!

Oh dear I'm so sorry to hear that, how incredibly sad I hope he has a full recovery, and quickly.. and then gets the heck outta that marriage ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) please, please keep us updated.
I am tearing up and feel so horrible for you, your family, and your brother. May he fully recover. Oh, I would be very stressed out too. I am glad your DH is with you and big hugs to you. Keep us updated.

I must have missed this earlier. I'm so sorry. I really hope he gets better soon and that he can sort out his marriage. I'm so sorry your SIL is acting that that. Please KUP!
