Ok, so I've done my plants the past couple of days, I know you can't work with something but mine was all preplanted, I guess. I used the Jiffy planter and you just add water and the dirt hydrates (I wish I was like that) and we got the spring mix with beautiful colors that I planted today. And yesterday I love the look of cotton when we go through NC there are just gorgeous fields of cotton and I planted that on Saturday. I'm going through flowers and growing with the boys so they can see how things grow and everything. I really can't wait until the cotton blooms!

What are you planting in your garden?

I have a ton of perennials that will come back, but I also mix in some cosmo's and whatever annuals may happen to strike my fancy at the nursery... I also plant tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and I may try broccoli and eggplant this year. I also hope to get in a crop of lettuce while it's still chilly, but I'm waiting on DH to build me a raised planter, but it keeps raining and he hasn't been able to do it...

I have a potted garden, so I've already started the radishes, carrots, pea bush, and onions. I set out the strawberries and threw some potatoes out there, too. When it gets warmer, I'll do zucchini and watermelon, and also blackberries.

I always think it would be nice to grow a little garden. My yard is so ugly. I hate hate hate yard work though. I hate getting dirty and I hate being so close to bugs.

We just had snow yesterday, lol, but I would like to plant some tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and maybe some corn.

I also can't wait to plant some nice flowers to dress up our new house.

MommytoOlivia - We had snow this weekend too...rrrr!!!
But I can see my friendly tulips and hyacinths poking their happy little heads through it to say hello. SO lovely to see flowers on their way. I put in some sweet pea seeds at StPatty'sDay, in hopes of some early blooms. I can't wait til tomato and flower time.

We are cleaning up the garden, but not really planting anything new yet - we have shasta daisies and black-eyed susans that grew HUGE, so are dividing and dispersing amongst our garden - I have an english flower garden on the side of our house. It looked great the first two years, but now is looking a little unkept, so need to get out there and do some work!

I planted lettuce last week and I have my tomato, cucumber and pepper seeds working inside. We're starting a veg. garden this year and I want to pick out two small flowering trees for one side of our yard. I love playing in dirt

Still too cold here. Maybe some tomatoes and basil. And flowers. We'll see. One really nice thing about not living in an apartment anymore... just the new place's yard needs a LOT of love. But that inspires me... can't wait to get out there.
