so I was sitting in the drive thru going to lunch when I felt this weird sensation in my tummy. It was right under my belly button and it felt like a tug. As fast as it came...it went. Now I was just sitting at my desk drinking a fruit punch and I felt a flutter in the same spot as earlier...then I felt it again. This is just what it felt like with DS. I don't think its gas because my gas pains are usually in my side or my back...not my stomach.

I sure hope it's movement. If not...I'm still going to pretend it is.

WOOHOO! I think I've been feeling mine for a couple of days, but I don't know I just need a swift kick to let me know. I need to see my tummy go up and down a couple of times too.

I have been feeling a flutter when I lay down and put my hands on my belly. I know its the baby. I was around 3-4 months when I felt my last one though.

I have felt this baby a few times, although it's moved to a different area and I don't feel it as well on that side. It's an amazing feeling!

I was thinking that I felt movement the other night too. It really didn't feel like gas and it was somewhat like what you described. Isn't it great...Dh and I were talking about how with Ava we used to lay in bed and watch my belly bounce around! That was much later obviously.

That's so exciting. I also like how when you read pregnancy books they say that you shouldn't be showing this early, yet most of us know that isn't true

soooo don't mean to burst the bubble, but you probably weren't feeling the baby if you felt things right under your belly button because your uterus isn't that big yet.

who knows though, everyone's body is different! i thought i was feeling movements this weekend too, but they were much lower, closer to my pelvic bone than to my belly button.

just for reference

I had been feeling something I thought was the baby for a week or so but I wasn't sure... I thought it might be gas but I just had this feeling it was the baby. Last night I was laying in bed and felt it RIGHT where the nurse found the heartbeat yesterday. So... maybe.... I can't wait until it is more obvious.

With my Thomas I was 13 wks, and he felt like a caterpiller crawling on my insides about 6" below my belly button, as for Collin he never moved..
