I think adoption would be super hard to go through at all. However this mother has 3 kids already and knows that she cant afford this one, so shes giving it up. Luckly she has found great parents that will support an open adoption and allow her to still have a relationship with her child. I just couldnt imagine having children and then having to lose one. I think for 1st time moms its a tad bit easier because you havent discovered the enormous love you have for your child. Yes when they first come out and you first see them you are in love- but watching them grow and learn makes your love grow even stronger. So having understand that bond and then having to choose not to get that must be the hardest decision in the world!!

Those birth mothers are amazing. I cannot imagine what they go through to insure a better life for their babies. And open adoptions are wonderful!

I love that show.. I always cry tons from those beautiful stories!

Yes the birth mothers are very strong. I would def. have a hard time giving my baby up after having 3 already but if you know thats whats the best I guess you just follow your heart.

I can't even imagine being able to place a baby for adoption......I think those women who are able to look beyond themselves and really choose what is best for the child are incredible! I don't know if I could ever do it, but I really admire those who do. I have 3 siblings who are adopted so I have a special appreciation for that.

The same thing happened with my cousin. She had 3 beautiful girls and then she got pregnant again soon after her divorce. She honestly wasn't sure who the father was (turned out to be her ex-husband), but she just didn't feel she could care for another child. She give her 4th up for adoption and still gets pictures and updates, but I don't think they see each other.
