No...never even thought about it until I read this thread. I don't think people carried laptops back in the prehistoric days of my last labor and delivery

I will be to keep my DH updated with pictures when he comes (hopefully) But I normally don't take it with me and I will probably not this time and just get my dad to upload the pictures and send them over. I will only have it if I am in there for hospitalization and give birth.

if my hospital has wifi ill will probably just bring my ipod touch, its smaller and easier to carry around. plus then i can jam out to the music!

I'll bring it, but I'm not sure how much I'll use it... I'm sure my DH will use it, especially if I have a long labor - plus I'm sure he'll be e-mailing pictures to family shortly after the birth (he's very *connected*). I seriously have no clue what I'm going to be in the mindset to do before the birth, and I can't see myself wanting to do anything but hold my baby and/or sleep after L&D!
