Not unless I have to. I would like to work until I go into labor if I can. Sitting around the house would drive me bonkers!

I plan on working right up to when I deliver unless the doc says I can't

I'm going to work up until my delivery date. I worked up to 39 weeks with Adriana and I was induced at 39 weeks and 1 day and had Adriana at 39 weeks and 2 days.. Plus, I work in a hospital and if something happens I'm in the perfect place to be..

I plan on working right up until delivery so I can maximize the amount of time I'm on leave. Plus, I would probably drive everyone nuts if I just sat around waiting for labor to begin.

I'm going to work until 1 or 2 weeks before the due date. If I calculated it correctly, I won't have to be back until the first week of January.

I will probably go off 2 weeks before EDD. That's the plan so far, but that can change! lol

Not me. I don't want to use my sick time until after baby arrives. I will do the 6 week maternity leave, then the 12 week family leave. Neither one is paid, so I need to save my sick days for then. Of course, if the dr. says I can't work, then I won't.

I plan on working until I either go into labor or my doctor tells me I can't work anymore. All my time off is unpaid, so I have extra motivation to stick around...

I'm not working this time around. With Olivia I was planning to work right up until I went into labor but I ended up falling really hard on my belly when I was 35 1/2 weeks. I ended up being hospitalized overnight and they gave me all sorts of warnings about my placenta so I didn't work again until she was 7 weeks old.

I was planning on working until I go into labor but now I'm considering working from home once I hit the 9 month mark. All my time off is paid. I thought most people get 10 weeks of FMLA leave (paid).

I'm due October 8th, and am a teacher. I'm not planning to start the school year (too hot and kids will be too much to handle at eight months pregnant!), but will go back to work in September 2010, so I'll still get the full year off.

With DD I worked until 2 days before I was induced. Mind you she was 6 days late. My job was pretty simple though I worked in an office and sat on my butt most of the time. This time If everything straightens out I will work up until the day I go into labor unless the doc says no. I can't take a lot of time off as my job is very demanding at that time of year.
