So, an update from this morning - everything looks really good. Ever wonder though why on earth they always seem to make women with a full bladder wait forever for their appointment? It was set for 8:15, and they didn't see me until almost 9.
Baby A is measuring 13w5d, and Baby B is measuring 13w4d. Baby B was stubborn and didn't want to get in the right position for being measured for awhile. Both had the thickness measured at 2.2, which put us in the range of 1 in 350ish for risk of Downs, and even less for Trisomy 13 and 18. They recommended that anyone below 1 in 370 has an amnio, which we were planning to do anyway, so that is booked for May 22.
No pics to share this time, since the machines there don't print them out, but I can pick up pics at a later appointment. It was pretty cute though, on the screen they looked like they were trying to cuddle through the separate sacs.

First surrobaby (girl) arrived April 24, 2008!
Surrotwins Hayleigh and Teagan arrived September 24, 2009!
I'm glad all went well!! And WHY do they make us wait so long. The day I had my gender scan with my youngest at 20 weeks, I had a FULL bladder and they were over an hour late for my appt. Finally I couldn't hold it anymore and I HAD to go pee, so I went and emptied like half my bladder, which is REALLY hard to not finish. lol So they called me back and the first thing the Dr said when he hooked me up... "You're bladder isn't full". YOU THINK @SS!!
Glad to hear things are going well. That must have been sweet seeing them trying to snuggle up to each other. I totally hear you on the waiting for the full bladder. Waiting for my gender scan at 18 weeks I swore I was about to start crying yellow tears!
How ironic !
My scan was today as well ... everything was normal
We finally heard the heartbeat ... 150hpm
Baby is sitting vertically (will get pictures posted later I'm at work)
Here is the really ironice thing ... our amnio is on May 22nd too !!!
A day before my 40th ...
