DH thinks I am crazy, I have gained 4 lbs and their are days were I think I am too big already and days that I think I am too small and not gaining enough. This is my first and I just want it all to go as well as it can.
Does any one else worry?
no this is my third and i know at the end i will have gained a few more then i wanted. oh heads up there may come an appt. where you go in and find youve gained 8-10 pounds in like 2-3 weeks it happened with both my preg. and it happened to my friend also. dont get scared if it happens to you.
I think all moms worry, especially when it's your first. Part of it is because everyone chimes in their .02 cents saying you've gained too much, you haven't gained enough...blah blah blah. It's enough to make you crazy!
Don't worry! Everything will turn out just fine. As long as your Dr thinks everything is on track try not to let yourself worry too much.
I am actually more worried about weight this time around. I gained way too much weight last time and only lost half of it when I got pregnant. I found out my body is messed up and holds on to every ounce for the year after the birth.
So I am trying to be super careful and gain as little as possible while still being healthy (I only need to gain 15 pounds total in the next 6 months, eek). I weigh myself every day.
Worrying is part of normal pregnancy, I've decided As long as you're eating healthy and your doctor doesn't seem concerned, don't worry. I've always gained more than I was supposed to, but, I lost the weight after each of them. I've already gained more than anyone in this DDC and I just keep telling myself to eat healthy and not worry too much about it. It may take longer because I'm older (41) but I know I'll take it off.
I'm sure you're doing just fine Sounds like a healthy amount.
