I am still dilated 1cm and now 20% effaced. He looked at me and said "Let's make a plan for going overdue."

I wanted to cry. So, in short, I am scheduled for cervadil placement on May 11th and he will come in to break my water on May 12th. Three weeks sounds SOOO far away! Of course, this is if I don't go into labor by then.

AND to top it off, I am now bleeding from the cervical check and cramping. I would have been excited to see blood yesterday, but today it just sucks...

I guess I need to stop worrying about it, and just plan for the induction. If I go into labor before then, it will be a happy surprise!

I know it sucks to wait, but at least you know for sure that you will be meeting your little guy no later than the 12th!

Don't take the 1cm as a bad thing. I walked around for 6 weeks at 4cm and the OB kept telling me I wouldn't make another week. I was induced finally 10 days late. Next baby, I wasn't even 1cm the day before I went into hard labor 4 weeks early. I've given up on being checked since it means nothing. When it's your time, the baby will come.

Well now you have a date in order, in case you don't go into labor on your own! Think of it now as a count down.

Well at least you know you won't go past the 12th! I hope you go on your own and are able to avoid induction. Alot can happen you may just go on your own before then.

Having your dr make plans for going late means nothing hon. With my first my dr checked me and told me that he would see me the next week, I ended up going into labor that night. At least you now know the definate last day you will be pg.
