well kind of. i feel better now. i showed my 12 week nub shots to an ultrasound tech who teaches ultrasound, also is obsessed with studing and guessing the nub angle. she thinks im going to have a boy. at first i thought it was a girl then lately ive been thinking boy, then she said looks like a boy. i actually cried. not because its a boy but because i thought id never have my daughter. well my hubby said that if its that important then we can have another child after this one if it is a boy! yeah! so even if it is a boy, i still have another chance. that made me feel better. dont get me wrong i love boys they are great and tons of fun! ive just always wished for a daughter too.

Don't feel bad...I always wanted a girl too! Fortunately God gave me one my second time around. But, it is not wrong to want a little girl! I hope you have a HEALTHY baby this time around and either a boy or girl-and certainly a girl next time!

I dont know hun, I'd still keep your hopes at even angles. LOL
I read that it's not really distinguishable until 14 weeks... was it a between the legs shot?
I had a side angle view at 13 weeks and looks like a nub, but is the iumbilical cord LOL maybe you'll get lucky

I can understand that. I want a girl this time around as well because it will likely be our last.

12 weeks is still too early to tell. The parts don't even form until 12-14 weeks.

it was charlie cats who thinks boy thats why im leaning towards it a boy. shes gotr experience. oh well.... its not 100 percent. but id rather go in thinking boy and getting boy, then thinking pink, and getting blue. i dont wanno ball in the office, the tech would think im nuts!

its not a toilet shot, its done by the genital tubicle which they all have. usually boy has more of an angle then girl. i had thought mine looked straight enough. one was super straight, one had a slight angle but not enough for me to think boy. oh well. its not 100 percent.... im still glad im thinking boy now, cant be dissapointed at my big u/s this way.

I hope the nub theory is wrong and you've got your girl. Its wonderful that your husband is so supportive though and willing to try again. Good luck and let us know when your u/s is scheduled!

I think we all understand, we all want what we want and if we don't get it, there is some disappointment. I think I will cry like a baby if this baby is a boy, which is horrible but its how I feel! I hope you get your girl!!
