A new plaza is being built right down the road from me and I just got a glimpse of the stores in there.

This may sound super lame, but they are putting in a Goodwill! I love shopping at the Salvation Army and the Goodwill, I always find such awesome deals.

Man I cannot wait for them to open now

doesnt sound crazy at all! i love a good deal. i usually only buy clearance or sale items. its easier to now that my big guy is in toddler clothing. i try and buy for a year ahead, so i get the end of season sales. i got a 50 dollar winter jacket for jesse at gap online for only 20 bucks. i also love thrift shops.

Not lame AT ALL! I LOVE LOVE LOVE GOODWILL! I find great deals there for all of us. My husband has found some really nice designer dress shirts there for next to nothing. My mom has already sent me 3 boxes of clothes she picked up at hers..mostly gender neutral, but a few things geared for a girl or a boy.

Unfortunately Salvation Army stores here aren't that great I used to shop there though when I lived back east.

I stopped yesterday at a thrift store by me, hoping to find some maternity clothes. I was so disapointed to see they don't even have a maternity section. I think I'll try goodwill next.

Does Goodwill usually have a maternity section?

I used to shop at thrift stores all the time, but haven't been over the last couple of years. Now may be a good time to go again! We have a number of consignment shops here that are great...but of course, they are a little more expensive.

Not only are they great to shop at it's a good place to take stuff that you are ready to get rid of. If you take anything there make sure you get a receipt and you can deduct it on your taxes.

Goodwill sorts all of the clothes by color. There are maternity clothes, but they are mixed in with the regular clothes. I go there for the toys! lol They always have stacks and stacks of brand new stuff, for super cheap.

I got my daughter one of those huge wooden dollhouses that they sell at target for $100, for $25! And also the wooden kitchen Target sells for $100, I got for $20! They were both brand new, in an unopened box and everything.
