Do you think seeing a fireworks show is okay for the baby's hearing?

The reason I ask is because when we just see movies at the theater he is VERY active at that time. WDYT?

My sisters both told me it was okay. I want to go to the 4th of July thing in Boston this year, but I don't know if it's okay for Olivia. But my sisters said it's fine.
I'll probably ask her pedi when shes born too just to be sure.

I would think that the decibel level at the movie theatre would be louder than fireworks (unless you are the one setting them off!) because of the enclosed space. I would say go and have fun!

i see no issue with it lol i went to a concert that was very loud not too long ago, and everything was fine. even if your little one was already here, (and we all know july 4th will be coming up) it would be fine to take baby to that also. i say go, have a great time, and come back and tell us all about it!

I agree and think it would be fine. I read somewhere about the amniotic fluid softening and muffling the sound. He should be fine!
