I'm about to leave to go take my 3 hour glucose test, the appointment is at 8:00, but traffic sucks around here. I am bringing my own glucose meter so I can monitor myself and not have to wait the long weekend for results. I've been fasting since 8:00 last night, so wish me luck!

Just remember that home meters only have to be within +/- 20% of the lab readings to be considered accurate. For my 1-hour test, my meter read 116, but the lab result came back at 100. Your meter may tell you that you passed/failed, but the lab test may come back with a different answer. Is Your Glucose Meter Accurate? - American Diabetes Services
