Gianna Marie was born yesterday at 12.19pm she weighes 7.11lbs and is 19"!  I was there for her whole labor, I was out in the hall for the pushing though. I got to hear her first cry and man is that little girl a screamer!! Shes a very happy baby though, she really likes to just look around and listen to everyone. Shes still taken it all in. But sometimes she members that shes not in her mommys belly anymore and does a fake 5 second cry about it!  I still cant believe shes here and is soo perfect!! Toni 3 months ago told me she felt like May 25th would be the day she was born and wouldnt ya know she was right?!

She is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the pictures. I bet it was awesome being a part of the birth as well, especially since this will be your first. Did it give you some perspective on what to expect? Just curious.

Jen I kinda knew what to expect from before. I had a loss when I was 16. I was 22 weeks along so I had to deliver like you would a full term baby. Mine was different bc my daughter, Olivia kinda just fell out bc of her size. There really wasnt the whole pushing process. So it helped in that aspect.
Sheli, Gianna was born at 38w and Im not sure how many days..
Its definitely not a stupid question. The belly button alarm, is if anyone takes her near or out a door before shes discharged the alarm will go off and the unit will be shut down so they have to do a baby count.
It did settle my fears about the hospital a little though, as long as I get the same nurse Toni had! I LOVED her, and I wasnt in labor! She rocked!!
