We had our carpets cleaned this morning so I went home at lunch time to check on the progress. They look amazing! They did all the rooms except the office. We just replaced the carpet in there because it used to be our "ferrets' room" when we had 3 of them. It has since then been converted to our office. So, they did baby Patrick's room, the living room and were only supposed to do the walkway in our bedroom because the furniture is so big and heavy. Well, it looks as if they moved the furniture in there anyway...

Now, remember how I just said I had 3 ferrets? Well, when they weren't in their room, they had free roam of 1/2 of the house, which included the bathroom, our room and the nursery. Now, keep in mind ferrets are major hoarders! They would steal pens out of my pocketbook, steal razors off the tub, steal tubes of toothpaste lol whatever they decided they wanted, they would run off and stash it somewhere. That "somewhere" was 9 times out of 10 under our bed. Well, I cleaned out from under my bed when I lost 2 of my ferrets and moved the lone ferret into the living room with us. But, being that our furniture is so dag on big and heavy, and because it never occured to me that they would stash things under the dresser, it never got moved, much less cleaned under... except today!! Oh my! When I walked into the bedroom I was appauled! They moved the dresser up on blocks apparently and away from the wall. Well, I finally got a glimpse of what's under the dresser and I so wish I had a picture! There were socks, tubes of lipgloss, pens, toys... it was a mess!! Oh wow, I was so embarrassed! Geez!
Why did he have to move the dresser?? LOL Looks like I have some cleaning to do this evening!!

That is funny. I never knew Ferrets did that. Guess there could have been worse things under there!

True, could've been worse!

Funny part - I called DH to tell him how embarrased I was and I said: "there is so much sh*t under this dresser I can't believe it!" He thought I was talking about actuall poop

Lol, that's a cute story. My mom used to have a Manx who was a hoarder too. If a family member couldn't find something, they'd go look in the cat's pile, and more often than not find what they were looking for!

Tolerance obviously requires a non-contentious manner of relating toward one another’s differences. But tolerance does not require abandoning one’s standards or one’s opinions on political or public policy choices. Tolerance is a way of reacting to diversity, not a command to insulate it from examination.
