I would definitely tell her that you can't find furniture to match, so if she wants it back to give to someone else who may need it, she can have it. If not you're going to either give it away or sell it. I'd let her have the option of having it back though, it's only fair.

I would totally sand and restain or paint it to match Jayla's nursery. I think recycling old furniture or repurposing is a great thing! Here is a picture of Tegan's nursery .. with a wine bar repurposed as a changing table!!!
