I know what you mean!!
And it's actually quite sad that it's 2009 and disey only has their first black princess!
What's next, controversy about black dolls? What about the black/biracial children?
Is it a crime that anyone but the white community have something after them?
Please I don't buy into it....

People are people regardless of skin color, gender, sexual preference, we're all human beings and everyone deserves love, respect & compassion. I really really hate intolerant people. I can't watch things like that ... gets my blood boiling!

I know what you mean! Today a gunmen fired shots at the Holocaust museum. He killed a security guard and he was critically shot himself. Reports are saying that he has ties to a White Supremicist group which is probably why he chose to attack that the Holocause museum. I wanted to throw something at the TV.
I agree, and as a high school teacher I see way too much ignorance and racism escaping teens mouths, and you know they hear that crap at home. Makes me wanna backhand em and all I can do is send them to "behavior intervention" which doesn't do crap to change their attitudes...
I really don't understand racism. Don't they (the racists) realize how ignorant and stupid and close minded they sound?
My grandfather was racist, I'm sorry to say and my dad was brought up that way. However, as he got older he started to realize how stupid racism was. It took him awhile to overcome it but by the time he settled down and had kids he had a totally different view.
I am very fortunate that I was brought up to accept all races and peoples, not only to view them as real people like me, but to appreciate all our differences too. That's what makes the world such a unique and wonderful place IMO.
I can't watch those shows either - it gets me so hopping mad - not good for my blood pressure!
racism & homophobia have never made any sense to me.. but unfortunately I live in the 'south' where it's way too common to hear really nasty remarks constantly.
All of it pisses me off, I hope the babies we raise are much more tolerant and open than the people around these days. yuck.
like it or not it's still part of history... ok please don't jump all over me for saying that, personally i think it's cool that a black man will sit and watch that, usually it's the black man that will get offended about that and the white person won't. we watch alot of stuff on the history channel and gangland, I am drawn to the holocaust for some reason I love learning as much information as possible as I can from it.
Im sorry you feel this way about him watching it
