well I don't know if this is what you're asking but a few weeks ago I felt like I was cramping a lot and it might be contractions. I asked my doc and she said that if changing positions makes them lessen/ go away or if there is not a clear pattern than its not contractions its BH. For me it was just ligament pain than was making me think I was cramping. It felt like a washcloth that was being twisted (like ringing out the water) and it was nothing to worry about. Def call your doctor though if it doesn't stop- they are so used to those questions!

I've had some braxton hicks contractions that got uncomfortable but as soon as I drank enough water they went away.

To me, they kinda feel like someone just tied my stomach into a really tight knot.

for me braxton hicks feel like my stomach tightening, real contractions feel like that in conjunction with period cramps...but everyone is different.

BH usually don't hurt, but its like a tightening feeling and sometimes it takes your breath away sorta.

BUT they can hurt as well.

I have been having them since 14 weeks now. And sometimes they will come in a pattern.

Yesterday I was starting to think I should call the doc cuz they were hurting and lasting longer, but it let up thankfully

With Chase I never had a BH/contraction until 2 weeks before his DD.
Some people are lucky enough not to get them, I'm not getting them this time either.
