I feel like such a girl! Im in my room with my dog (who is a little shorkie-poo and cant hurt anyone except by scratching them to death!) a knife on my nightstand (ya i live in a crapy neighborhood! lol) and watching the other boelyn girl. to not be scared... not helping. i am hearing knocking at my door and other things. i dont like this! =(

That's me 4 nights a week ... hubby works midnight shift ... he gets home around 8am.
Used to it ... and it no longer bothers me.
2 dogs ... 2 attack cats ... and ok ... a 9mm nearby just in case ...

Hang in there ...

Call the local PD non-emergency number if you are concerned about sounds ... they will (should) come check out your place to confirm all is ok.

ps ~ just think ... bed to yourself ... nor snoring hubby !

It was a huge adjustment for me when my dh started working nights last year. It is scary. I hope your night went okay and you were able to get some sleep.

Maybe you can record your hubby's snores and play it to help you sleep. lol

i hate when DF works the night shift. i always leave the living room light and tv on all night. i have 2 bulldogs, by no means attack dogs, but if they are both barking and you dont know "what" is barking they sound vicious!
