Does anyone feel like they can feel their belly stretching?

This week it's been semi-uncomfortable, almost feeling like it just can't stretch anymore and may split open.

Please tell me this is normal. I think baby must be growing a lot this week. I've been starving and exceptionally exhausted.

It is normal! It's a very weird uncomfortable feeling, isn't it?

I was feeling the same way last week - including the horrible hunger and the exhaustion (I gained 4 pounds ). Baby must be having a big growth spurt.

I feel SO much better this week. Hang in there. ((hugs))

Yes, I've felt it too and it can be really uncomfortable. I feel mostly in my lower belly. I swear sometimes I look down to see if my skin split open because that's what it feels like.

I'm glad it is normal, but am sorry you guys all have to feel this way too. It is a REALLY crazy feeling!

I've looked down to make sure it hasn't split open, too.

OH YES !!!

Especially when I go to lay down at night ... I really feel the pull.
Sometimes after I eat ... I get the stretching/tight feeling too.

But I have to say ... I kinda like it ... it lets me know that things are progressing along !

Robin, I agree. It's uncomfortable, but definitely reassuring that she's growing in there.

Yep, I just went and picked up some Burt's Bees belly butter, and it's very soothing when I get those! I was out of cocoa butter and REALLY needing it, too. This is a real nice product, I've discovered.
Hugs to you and your growing belly!
